|  CHATEAU LE CONE presents its wine PREMIERES COTES DE BLAYE CRU BOURGEOIS vintage 2004.
Very intense colours, lightly amber-ruby notes. The first nose is very intense. We find notes of stewed fruits, autumnal scents. In mouth the attack is clear, fresh and very neat. The development is harmonious and elegant with a touch of slate. The final is very long with a lovely aromatic persistency; a nice development on the toasted wood and fermented havan. A really interesting ageing potential !
Aging : In new French oak barrels during 18 months.
Varietals : 75 % merlot, 25% cabernet sauvignon and franc.
Reward : 1 STAR in Guide Hachette 2008.
